Nominations open today (30 Jan 2025) and must reach the AEC Returning Officer via the lodgement method(s) in the attached nomination form not later than 5:00pm (Australian Eastern Daylight Time (AEDT)) on 13/02/2025.
Prospective candidates and nominators should verify their financial status and any other qualifications required by the Union’s rules prior to lodging nominations.
ETU QUADRENNIAL DIVISIONAL ELECTIONS 2023
The Australian Electoral Commission has declared the results of the 2023 election for the CEPU Electrical, Energy and Services Division – Divisional Executive, Divisional Presidents and two Divisional Vice Presidents. Members may request a copy of the post-election report, which includes a copy of the AEC declaration from the union or the AEC (regulation 141).
The Australian Electoral Commission has declared the results of the 2023 quadrennial election for the Divisional Secretary and Assistant Divisional Secretary. Members may request a copy of the post-election report, which includes a copy of the AEC declaration, from the union or the AEC (regulation 141).
The Australian Electoral Commission has declared the results of the 2023 quadrennial election for the ETU Divisional Council. Representatives are elected from each branch to represent their branch on the Divisional Council. Members may request a copy of the post-election report for each branch from the union or the AEC (regulation 141).
The Australian Electoral Commission has declared the results of the 2023 quadrennial election for the Divisional Affirmative Action (Women) Councillor. Raven Maris from the NSW-ACT Branch was the successful candidate and will represent ETU women on the Divisional Council. Members may request a copy of the post-election report, which includes a copy of the AEC declaration, from the union or the AEC (regulation 141).
