The Powering Skills Organisation’s 2025 Energy Workforce and Skills Survey is now open.
The PSO 2025 Energy Workforce and Skills Survey is intended to identify key challenges, barriers, risks and opportunities related to building the skilled energy workforce required for Australia to reach Net Zero.
Powering Skills Australia (PSO) is one of the ten Jobs and Skills Councils (JSC), which have been established by the Federal Government to address skills shortages and training structures in different sectors.
PSO work across the energy sector, focusing on electricity renewables and gas. The ETU is one of PSO’s founding members and has extensive involvement along with industry in development training packages, reviewing training needs and drive high-quality outcomes for the VET sector and learners relevant to industry evolvement and needs.
The 2025 Energy Workforce and Skills Survey will help build insights, inform PSO’s Energy Sector Plan and help shape our future activities, projects, and strategies.
Key insights from electrical trades workers are crucial to help build a safe, sustainable and prosperous future for ETU members and our trades.
